SPANDA

The sacred vibration of the heart. Thus, the endless pulsation of the movement that originates reality in the unity of the whole. In that ebb and flow, the universe is created. It is the place where we awaken to wonder and joy when perceiving the consciousness of the Divine. In Spanda, we recognize ourselves as part of the total energies that encompass everything and that continue to expand for eternity.

SPANDA

For in the Messiah, there is no pure or impure, Jew or Greek, male or female, slave or free, past or future, east or west, for in Him all things rest and unite in love.

Spanda is a project of Ontogony, based on the teachings of Carlos de León. Through Spanda, a continuous flow of exploration, research, practice, and teaching is established.

We study and practice the ancient knowledge from various spiritual traditions and philosophical currents that have been part of humanity's heritage for thousands of years.

It is through the proposal of the Ontogony vision that Carlos de León updates this knowledge for contemporary everyday life. The teachings continue to evolve as a path of guidance and ongoing development, holding great relevance in our times.

The main objective of studying different paths and traditions is to transform our reality through a clear understanding and a vibrant experience of the spiritual wealth accessible to us in our present days.

We regard spiritual traditions as explanatory models created in specific places, times, and cultures. While they may contain universal truths, no tradition is absolutely universal, let alone infallible. Truth can only be directly experienced by the individual.

The main areas of development are: Kabbalah, Kashmiri Shaivite Tantra, Taoism, Shamanism and Healing, Buddhism, and Mind-Body Psychotherapy.

We emphasize practice based on love and wisdom. An academic spirit is appreciated but not considered indispensable.

We believe that the ultimate goal is to practice in Divine Grace and consciously experience our True Nature.

In Spanda, it is essential to share knowledge with others and, whenever possible, invite practitioners to learn directly from more than one teacher and from different traditions. We also consider it highly beneficial for students to hear teachings firsthand from pure lineages in order to better appreciate them.
